AFFLICTION BANNED - Pre-Fight Press Conference - July 16, 2008 : AFFLICTION BANNED - On Wednesday, July 16, 2008, the AFFLICTION BANNED pre-fight press conference was held in Los Angeles, CA. Seventeen (17) of 22 fighters scheduled to fight on Affliction's ground-breaking inaugural fight card were on hand for interviews and press coverage.

On the fight card are legends in the sport such as Josh Barnett, Pedro Rizzo, Matt Lindland and Renato Sobral along with newer faces in mixed martial arts: Mike Whitehead, Ben Rothwell, and Fabio Nascimento and the man the MMA world has been courting since the end of PRIDE, Fedor!

A Night of Combat (Free For All) - June 20, 2008 : ESPN Friday Night Fights & A Night of Combat was held Friday, June 20, 2008, inside the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This ground-breaking boxing and mixed martial arts event was sponsored by Major League Sports Entertainment (MLSE) and Banner Promotions. Four (4) boxing matches and five (5) MMA bouts appeared that night and the audience was provided free tickets from floor to ceiling!

Battle in the Ballroom - SpringFist 2008 - April 13, 2008 : SpringFist 2008 - On Sunday, April 13, 2008, famed boxing promoter Roy Englebrecht presented his second installment of the 2008 Fist Series inside the Irvine Marriott Grand Ballroom. The "Battle In The Battleroom" promoter put together seven (7) solid fights for theSpring Fist 2008 fight card; unfortunately, John Sassone of Huntington Beach failed pre-fight testing leaving Irvine’s Fernando Serratos without a debut fight. The remainder of the fights were presented without a hitch.

Total Combat 26 - February 16, 2008

WCO - The Return (Cancelled Show) - January 12, 2008 : WCO's The Return - World Cage Fighting Organization (WCO), Valor Fighting, and Primal MMA were teamed for one of the most stacked fight cards to hit the San Diego area. Scheduled to happen on Saturday, January 12, 2008, at the San Diego Sports Arena, the show would mark the return of a few notorious fighters that had been recently missing from the mixed martial arts scene. Official weigh-ins were held the night before at San Diego Harley Davidson and beyond the infamous fighters scheduled to appear, the room was filled with familiar faces in MMA.
